P&C News

Our current P&C team is passionate about helping create a fantastic environment for our students and staff to be part of at all our campuses. We are always looking for new people with fresh ideas or skills that can continue to provide a great service in our canteens, continue to raise funds for our school wish list items that include cold water bubblers at both the junior and senior campuses, covered seating areas, landscaping and more.

We need your help – we are looking for school community members to volunteer an hour of their time to help us provide a food service before the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Musical on the 7, 8 and 9the August. If you would like to help please email PandC@noosadistrictshs.eq.edu.au

Your P&C Association is comprised of a small number of parents who choose to contribute two hours a meeting to benefit the students at Noosa District State High School.  The more people involved the merrier, all parents are welcome, and encouraged, to attend.

Past donation of funds by the P&C have gone towards the purchase of toilet block facilities at Mimburi, Toyota HiAce 12-seater mini bus and air-conditioning at Cooroy and Pomona Campuses.

Volunteering

Our Tuckshop welcomes volunteers at both campuses. If you have time to spare in your week we would love it if you would consider investing some time into our school community.  All volunteers need to have a Blue Card which is free to apply for online and to be fully vaccinated.  

If you are interested in supporting the school through the P&C as a volunteer including the NEW “Work for the Dole” option with centrelink and Services Australia, email PandCSecretary@noosadistrictshs.eq.edu.au to discuss Blue Card and training aspects required.

Flexischools App for Purchasing Food and Uniforms

Noosa District SHS will be using Flexischools for parents to place lunch orders and make over-the-counter purchases at our school. Australia's #1 school ordering solution, Flexischools, operates in more than 1700 schools across Australia, enabling parents and students to order and pay for school lunches, uniform shop items, and school community events online or via the Flexischools app.

Flexi schools will be the place to order our pre-loved uniforms and new jackets, hats and ties while new stock lasts. Other items are available through School Locker.  

Flexischools App 

Parents simply download the Flexischools app from the Apple or Google store and follow the prompts to create an account. You can download the App and find registration and online ordering instructions here.

Parents can set daily spend limits and keep an eye on what they’re buying via your Flexischools app. Additionally, you can also add access for your child to use the App, enabling them to place online orders themselves - great for growing independence.

If you already have a Flexischools account for another family member then just select the Profile icon on the app and +Add New Student.

Student Cards 

Students will be able to make over-the-counter canteen purchases with their existing student ID card by linking their card to their profile in the Flexischools App.  

Here’s how to link your child’s student card to your Flexischools account for cash-free spending at school. 

• Register a Flexischools account and create a student 
• Select: Noosa District State High School from the drop down list 
• Under Settings, enter the Student ID number located on the front of your student card

Uniform Shop

The uniform shop offers a consignment sales service for pre-loved uniforms.
