As we look back on Term 2 so far, we’re proud to reflect on the outstanding achievements within our school community. Last week marked the highly anticipated opening of our school musical, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. With an incredible turnout and enthusiastic audience, the production was an overwhelming success.

A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who helped bring the show to life. From the tireless organisers behind the scenes to our wonderfully talented cast and crew, your dedication, creativity, and teamwork resulted in an unforgettable performance that truly showcased the spirit of our school. The vibrant costumes, captivating performances, and magical set transported audiences straight into Willy Wonka’s world.

Excitement is building as our much-anticipated School Formal draws near. This special evening will provide students with an opportunity to celebrate their achievements, enjoy a night of dining and dancing, and create lasting memories with friends. We can’t wait to see everyone dressed to impress for what promises to be a truly unforgettable event.

Earlier this term, our school hosted the annual Pathways and Careers Excursion, offering students and their families valuable insight into the incredible opportunities available at our school. The event gave students the chance to connect with potential future employers and training providers from a wide range of industries, helping them explore possible career paths and gain a clearer vision of their future.

On the academic front, our year 11 students prepare themselves for the upcoming exam block commencing in week 10. As our Year 12 students submit their final pieces of internal assessment, they prepare for the fast-approaching external exams. With QTAC applications now open, students have the opportunity to apply for early offers, allowing them to plan ahead and take confident steps towards their post-school pathways.

Looking forward, we are excited for all the events and activities that the rest of 2025 has in store. We encourage each of you to stay engaged, continue to show your school spirit, and make the most of every moment. On behalf of the Student Council, we want to wish you all an incredible rest of the term.
