Captains' Comments

As we reach the end of Term 3, there is still so many exciting opportunities to look forward to this year, as well as many outstanding achievements to be celebrated.

Week 10 highlights another significant milestone for Year 12, with students completing their mock exams during the start of the week, a crucial step in preparing for their external assessments later in the year. Additionally, the highly anticipated Year 12 Formal is taking place on Thursday. This special evening is a chance for students to come together, reflect on their final year of schooling, and enjoy a memorable night with their peers. We cant wait to see everyone dressed up for this celebration.

Meanwhile, Year 11 students will be undertaking their exam block, testing not only their knowledge but also their ability to manage study routines and exam conditions—skills that will serve them well as they move into their final year of schooling.

Furthermore, leadership applications are well underway for the process of selecting our 2026 school leaders, with candidates having completed interviews, and now practising their speeches to be delivered to their cohort.

Adding to the busy schedule, the Noosa Show Holiday will provide a well-timed break in Week 9, giving everyone a chance to recharge before the final stretch of the term.

Looking ahead to the holidays, students and staff heading off on the ski trip will have the opportunity to unwind and create lasting memories whilst trying to learn how to stay upright in the snow.

It’s certainly a busy finish, but one that promises both hard work and celebration as students round out another successful term.

On behalf of the student council, we wish everyone a safe and happy holidays, and best of luck to all students completing their assessments.
