Regional Athletics Championships
Congratulations to all of our athletes who represented Noosa District SHS and North District at the recent Regional Athletics Championships.
Two of our athletes, Murray Pocock (Year 10) and Tahnee Swan (Year 11) achieved outstanding results, securing their place on the Sunshine Coast Team for the upcoming State Championships in Townsville.
Murray finished 2nd in the 3000m with a time of 10:00:52 (That's 3min 20second pace!!), he was the highest placed runner from North District.
Tahnee placed 2nd in Javelin with a throw of 20.87m. She was the highest placing athlete from North District.
Well done to all of our athletes who qualified to compete at Regionals!

Regional Sport Trials for 2026
The first round of Regional Sport Trials for 2026 begin in Term 4 this year! Age groups are based on how old you will be in 2026!
If you would like to trial for any of the following sports please collect a Registration Form from the HPE staffroom at either campus.*

* Collection times for Pomona are P4 Thursdays and both break Fridays
