Noosa District SHS Shines at 2025 Gold Coast Titans All Schools Touch Carnival
The 2025 Gold Coast Titans All Schools (GCTAS) Touch Football Carnival once again proved why it’s regarded as the world’s largest school touch football tournament. Held annually in October, the event brings together up to 600 teams from across Australia and beyond. Over five days, more than 8,000 students take to the fields, playing over 2,000 games across 30 venues, with crowds of up to 10,000 spectators cheering them on.
Noosa District SHS proudly fielded two competitive teams this year — the 15 Girls and 18 Mixed — who both demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork, and resilience throughout the carnival.
The 15 Girls team played seven spirited matches, securing three impressive wins against Coombabah SHS (3–0), Bribie Island SHS (4–1), and Assisi Catholic College (3–2). Their skill, communication, and composure under pressure were evident across every game.
The 18 Mixed team also showed tremendous determination, battling through six challenging matches and recording two thrilling victories — a 5–4 nail-biter against Lindisfarne Anglican School and a confident 7–4 win over St Andrew’s Anglican College.
Both teams can be extremely proud of their performances against some of Queensland’s strongest touch football schools. Their commitment, sportsmanship, and school spirit were on full display, both on and off the field.
Congratulations to all players and coaches for their dedication and for representing Noosa District SHS with such pride at this prestigious event.
